In the last year The United Methodist Church through its budget and through its Outreach Committee has supported the following organizations and programs financially:
SHIP (Summit Helping Its People)
Project Safe in Summit
Our House Foundation
Homefirst
The Interfaith Council for the Homeless of Union County
CAUSE (Christian Approach to Urban Suburban Encounter)
The United Methodist Homes
SHARING
World Hunger/Poverty
Childhood Immunization
Native Americans
NothingButNets for Malaria in Africa
Solar Coolers for Darfur Refugees

In addition to the above, we have helped sponsor a student traveling to Smolensk, Russia. The youth have been going to Russia since the early 1990's on Peace Mission Teams. They connect with Russian teenagers to share culture, social and religious issues.

Three times each year, as part of the IHN, we host several families of homeless people for a week, assisted by our support congregation from St. Teresa's of Avila Roman Catholic Church.

For the past four years our church has been the host for the community luncheon for the Martin Luther King Day of Service.

Our Youth raised $700 for NothingButNets during the Youth Led Worship service on March 30, 2008. This will send 70 Malaria nets and help educate families in Africa where every 30 seconds a child dies from this deadly disease.
